# Record a Workflow

**Record a Workflow** lets you teach Cephable a task by doing it. You work through the task
once while talking it through out loud, and Cephable turns what you did and what you said
into a [skill](/docs/using-cephable/automate/skills). After that, you can ask Automate to do
the task and it uses the skill to get it right.
