# Using Cephable

Cephable works in three modes: **Control**, **Create**, and **Automate**. You will see the
same three names on the Workspace and on the Panel's tabs.

| **[Control](/docs/using-cephable/voice-commands)** | Run the commands in your [App Controls](/docs/using-cephable/app-controls) — by voice, keyboard shortcut, or quick action button — in whatever app you are using | Every plan |
| **[Create](/docs/using-cephable/create)** | Draft, rewrite, summarize, and translate text right inside the app you are working in | Dictation on every plan; AI writing tools on Plus and Pro |
| **[Automate](/docs/using-cephable/automate)** | Describe a desktop or cross-app task in plain language, and Cephable carries it out for you | Pro |

Use Control for the actions you repeat every day. Use Create when you want help with
writing. Use Automate when a job takes several steps across your apps and files.
